gallery rosenfeld is thrilled to announce that  MARV - Museo d’Arte Rubini Vesin will be hosting  the first museum exhibition of Araminta Blue, the acclaimed British artist celebrated for her evocative and emotionally charged works.

Supported by the gallery, this landmark exhibition will run from 20th July until the 8th September 2024, offering a profound exploration of Blue’s artistic journey.

Araminta Blue’s work is distinguished by its deep emotional resonance and narrative complexity. Her pieces often draw upon personal and collective memories, weaving intricate stories that invite viewers into an intimate dialogue.

This exhibition, her first in a museum setting, highlights the power of emotional narrative and the profound impact of personal experience on her practice.

Blue is fascinated by the interplay of warm and cool light, which inspired the title for this exhibition, “Il Calore sulla Pelle”, which directly translated to “Heat on the Skin”.

This theme explores the contrasting sensations and emotions evoked by sunlight, whether it be the comforting warmth of a summer afternoon or the crisp coolness of a winter morning. Through the works exhibited, Blue captures these fleeting moments, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences and the associated emotions.
