gallery rosenfeld is thrilled to celebrate Japanese artist Keita Miyazaki's solo exhibition at this prestigious museum presenting The Eternal Duality – Là dovescorre l’acqua, tra storia e rinascita (The Eternal Duality – Where the Water Flows between History and Rebirth), an exhibition curated by Pier Paolo Scelsi, with co-curation by Ilaria Cera and artistic direction by Riccardo Freddo.

The exhibition reflects on the fragility of modernity and the possible harmony between past and future through a series of sculptures and installations created from the encounter of industrial materials, paper, and light and sound elements, in dialogue with the history and architecture of the space.

The project will be hosted in the renowned Nymphaeum, recently reopened to the public, which will be transformed into a performative space where the artist evokes themes of cyclicity, regeneration, and the encounter of cultures. Through this work, the exhibition offers visitors a renewed interpretation of the Nymphaeum’s monumental presence, a reflection on the past  and a vision for the future, celebrating the care, knowledge, and memory embedded in the site.

In this context, The Eternal Duality – Là dove scorre l’acqua, tra storia e rinascita, invites visitors to embark on a journey between past and present, where water, a symbol of life and constant transformation, becomes both metaphor and testament.

Here, water becomes voice, movement, and memory. Through Miyazaki’s works, visitors are guided along a fluid itinerary that bridges past and present, transforming the Nymphaeum into a living dialogue between history, art, and the perpetual flow between past and present.
