gallery rosenfeld is thrilled to be participating at the CAN Art Fair in Ibiza, Spain.
Booth C11 will be showcasing the works of three versatile artists: Araminta Blue, Ioana Maria Sisea and Guillermo Fornes.
Araminta Blue (British) is a painter known for her emotionally resonant works that blur the line between figuration and abstraction. Using layered oil techniques—ranging from diluted washes to thick, tactile surfaces—she creates dreamlike spaces that explore the body, nature, and transformation. Her recent work often reflects themes of motherhood, vulnerability, and imagined escape.
Ioana Maria Sisea (Romanian) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans sculpture, ceramics, video, and performance. Her practice explores themes of desire, materialism, and power dynamics, often using humour and satire to critique post-Communist and patriarchal structures. Through playful yet subversive imagery she transforms cultural commentary into tactile, narrative-driven installations.
Guillermo Fornes (Spanish) is a painter and land-art practitioner who creates “Visual poems” rich in symbolic language and emotional intensity, often using elemental materials like fire, water, and pigment to explore themes of origin, memory, and the raw power of nature. His process is deeply performative and physical, with large-scale works and ephemeral interventions in Ibiza and Lanzarote that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and emotionally engage with the elemental world.
