gallery rosenfeld is excited to invite you to our second Close Encounters: London Studios with a visit to Bongsu Park, welcoming guests into her studio this weekend as she prepares for her first museum solo exhibition in Italy, Fiori della Memoria, opening at MARV Gradara, Marche, Italy in June of this year.
Bongsu's work spans multiple mediums and explores themes of memory, life cycles, and human experience, often drawing on Korean traditions to create immersive, reflective environments.
Her Janhyang series focuses on the idea of lingering traces like echoes or scents that remain after something has passed, symbolising both the presence of what once existed and the emotions it leaves behind. This studio visit offers a rare glimpse into works in progress ahead of her notable institutional presentation.
The studio visit will be accompanied by a special Korean lunch. Reflecting the spirit of her work rooted in scent, memory, and the natural world, the menu draws on Korea’s traditional culinary heritage.
