Comprising new works created specifically for Santa Maria della Scala, the exhibition offers a profound journey through Axente’s visionary exploration of spirituality, memory, and transformation. Once a place of refuge for pilgrims, the museum’s rich historical and religious heritage becomes the setting for Axente’s contemporary dialogue, a fusion of relics, symbols, and painted installations that reinterpret the sacred through the lens of the present.
