ON VIEW: Lavinia Harrington

gallery rosenfeld is delighted to present Lavinia Harrington as our second artist part of our ON VIEW initiative.

Lavinia Harrington (b.1986) is an Italian-British artist based in London. She received her Painting MFA from the Slade School of Fine Art (2024), a full Arts and Humanities Research Council Scholarship for her MA at the Courtauld Institute of Art focusing on Venetian Renaissance painting (2010) and a BA First Class Honours in History of Art from the University of Oxford (2008). Lavinia was shortlisted for the Chadwell Award and was awarded The Audrey Wykeham Prize for Painting at the Slade.

Lavinia has fifteen years of experience working in arts education; delivering public talks for the National Gallery in London and teaching in museums, galleries and schools across the United Kingdom and Italy.

Recent group shows in London include: Fragments of Existence, Soho Revue; Beauty in Individualism: A Selection of Works by Women Artists of the 20th and 21st Centuries, Stephen Ongpin Fine Art and Somewhere in Between, Hew Hood Gallery.

This initiative will present a rotating selection of artworks by both gallery-represented and external artists, offering collectors and visitors a richer, more diverse experience alongside the gallery’s primary exhibition schedule.

Lavinia Harrington’s works will be on display alongside Nuno Gil's solo exhibition “UNDERWATER STORIES” and group exhibition “VISIONS” at gallery rosenfeld and will end on the 27th of March.
