The 'Foundation' represents Levi Van Veluw's latest body of work, following on from 'The Origin of the Beginning', 'The Collapse of Cohesion' and ' The Relativity of Matter'. This last project was the title of his solo show in the Marres Museum in Maastricht last winter.
Levi, in creating an alternative universe which obeys other, mysterious laws, forces us to examine our own.
The Foundation's absent collector who is vainly trying to bring order to a disordered world, could be any of us as we try and make sense of the universe we live in.
